Summary:

Our growing and in-demand solutions consulting firm is seeking an experienced Simatic IT Developer for the Unified Architecture platform. 

Responsibilities:

As a senior developer for our consultant division, you will:

• Support implementations, upgrades and customizations for Simatic IT UA / Opcenter Execution Foundations, Discrete and Process
• Collaborate with solution architects to design enhancements according to project requirements
• Develop, test and deploy Extensions for the UA platform
• Guide and mentor junior developers in their growth
• Write code in accordance with best practices
• Document your work and aid in the review of group documentation

Required:

• 2+ years of experience developing in the UA platform
• 4+ years of experience supporting manufacturing software
• 4+ years of experience integrating manufacturing and shop-floor systems
• 6+ years of experience programming in .NET, SQL, AngularJS, HTML5 & CSS
• Diligent source-code control
• Strong troubleshooting ability
• Team oriented attitude
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good verbal and written English communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field

Preferred:

• Experience with Simatic IT Production Suite, Historian and Integration platforms
• Programming for multiple MES implementations
• Knowledge of business ERP systems and concepts
• ITIL Foundations certification
• ISA-95 model knowledge
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and capabilities
• Experience in chemical and pharmaceutical Process manufacturing
