Senior Project Manager (PM)

Position Overview

The Senior Project Manager is a key coordinator of all activity throughout the lifecycle of a project. Experienced in managing complex software implementation projects and is responsible for the overall delivery effectiveness. The Senior Project Manager is the face to senior executives and stakeholders in the client’s organization and a key collaborator across the business and technical teams. This position acts a monitoring and control authority and a gate keeper for project delivery and execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the project budget, schedule and resources, and provide implementation guidance for the project.

• Directly responsible for the generation of project schedules, level of effort documents, risk assessments, communications, issue tracking and cutover plans.

• Utilize working knowledge of Waterfall and Scrum implementation methodologies to ensure successful projects based on type of project and level of scope.

• Organize project team resources and manage task assignments to plan.

• Lead in project management of cross functional integration efforts with MES and other applications.

• Develop strategic relationships with the client’s: solution director, project manager, implementation team, key stakeholders and business / project sponsors.

• Provide concise/meaningful project status dashboards and reports to internal and external project governing committees (steering committee, PMO, etc.).

• Communicate and apply industry best practices to multiple areas of project.

• Provide superior level customer service.

• Lead and coordinate testing activity, testing defect management and issue resolution.

• Provide Resource Allocation Planning for long term project resource planning and reporting planned versus actual utilization metrics.

• Due to the global nature of our company, it should be expected that from time to time, alternative work hours may be required to accommodate other geographies’ time zones.

• Mentoring
o Provide general leadership to DHRUV team in areas of expertise.
o Assist with mentoring junior level consultants in the area of project management practices.

• Other Duties
o As assigned on a project basis.

Travel Required

• Consultant should be prepared to travel up to 15% of the time.

• Travel required based on:
o Customer requirements
o Milestone delivery
o Successful execution of assigned tasks

Certifications

• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent.

• MESA International Certificate of Competency (CoC) for MES/MOM Methodologies.

Application Accountability

• Understand key activity required to successfully deploy Opcenter in order to effectively manage the delivery team’s activity and dependencies between deliverables.

Experience

Required:
• 5 – 7 years of experience in direct project management of technical teams.
• Demonstrated knowledge in solution components, software design and development methodologies.

Ideal:
• Experience with Medical Device or Regulated Industry.
• Experience with Software Quality, Validation and/or Verification processes.
• Experience with Opcenter / Camstar MES deployments.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in related Field (or the equivalent experience) plus a minimum of five years related experience.
